Things Entertainment exhibited at TechDay on April 18, 2017 in New York. (No link, because the current version of the page pops up with too much irritating motion.) This was our first event and it was the perfect choice to share our plans for accessible games, augmented reality and interactive fiction. We had an exhibit and Suzanne Taylor, our founder, gave a short presentation on TechDay's Olshan stage as well.
TechDay provided essential information for tech startups. We met contacts who can help with practical aspects of the business including two excellent programs for health insurance for employees at startups. We also got to have some discussions with technology service companies for technologies that we can integrate into our products, such as Web security monitoring and a customer feedback module.
We even met some IoT innovators who have APIs. This means that we can bring their IoT devices into our game experiences.
Our favorite part, though, was meeting with the attendees and hearing how accessible games will positively impact them, their friends, and their families. There was a lot of enthusiasm for our augmented reality as well. The energy at the exhibit was very encouraging overall!Tweet that you read this article
